Wills, Power of Attorney Documents, Living Wills
Very often when the topic of “Wills” is discussed with a client I am told, “I am all set because I have a Will.” I then respond, “No you’re not!”
A Will, alone, is often not adequate. Clients need to execute three different documents:
- a Power of Attorney,
- a Living Will (often referred to as Final Directives), and
- a Will.
Each document of these documents has a different purpose and each addresses very different circumstances.
